Pricing Your Home Correctly

Pricing your home correctly is the most important aspect of selling.  As your REALTOR®, Kim will guide you and provide information and comparables in your neighborhood that will help you determine the selling price for your home.  Competitive pricing is key to a quick sale, whereas overpricing leads to a home languishing on the market, and typically a lower netted sales price.  The hottest activity on a home is in the first couple weeks of the listing.  It’s hot, it’s new, and it needs to be priced right.  Once the home has been on the market for a while, people begin to overlook it- it hasn’t sold, so something must be wrong with it. We will help you price your home correctly, and get it sold quickly.

Preparing Your Home

Preparing or staging your home to sell is the second most important factor for a quick sale.   This is the time to step back and look at your home as objectively as possible.  De-clutter, begin to pack your things, remove personal items, and make your home look as attractive as possible to anyone and everyone that might come with their Realtor to view your house.  As your REALTOR®, Kim can suggest professional stagers, professional tradesmen that will help make some of the necessary repairs, and with a keen eye, she can help you make your home pop.  The simpler and cleaner your home is, the more likely you will find a buyer quickly.
